Grand Massif lift passes and equipment hire

Lift passes

In the Grand Massif ski area guests can choose between three levels of lift passes depending on their level of skiing ability

Debutants Pass: Beginners will usually buy the beginners area pass on a daily basis until they are able to progress to the higher slopes when they will move onto the Massif pass. This is the cheapest option for beginners to learn to ski.

Massif Pass: The local Massif area pass then covers all the slopes of Samoens, Morrillon and Les Carroz and even the long blue across to Flaine, in total it encompasses 145km of pistes. This is great for early Intermediates or people who need to be in easy access of the ski school area with children. You can always buy pass extensions to enjoy the odd days skiing in Flaine.

Grand Massif Pass: The full Grand Massif lift pass means you can ski every bit of the 265km pistes available in the area (and all the off-piste too) and gives you unlimited access to every single lift running! Anybody capable of skiing hard blues &  red runs upwards and with the time to do it will want this pass.

Equipment Hire

This year we are pleased to be able top offer an in-chalet fitting service for our clients which saves the time & hassle of taking a separate trip down to the town centre. We use a supplier local to the area who carries an excellent range of equipment and good value-for-money prices. Full details and booking details can be seen at Remi’s website page here: Chalet Ski Shop

We always ask guests to pre-book the equipment for their holidays, this is important to ensure that you get exactly what you want especially at peak times. You will be asked to provide certain information (height, shoe sizes, ski level etc) for all guests wanting to hire equipment around 2-weeks before your stay with us. Please note that we cannot guarantee availability of hire equipment if we do not receive this information.

All money will be paid direct to the shops by cash or credit / debit card at the start or end of your holiday (no advance payment is necessary)

Ski locker storage at Samoens 1600m costs €60 for 5 sets of skis / boots (works out at €2 / person / day). Alternatively we bring your equipment back to the chalet where your boots sit overnight in our heated ski-room and your ski’s in our locked internal garage.
